#IELTS top tip of the day - #Writing Part 1 - Time yourself to find out how long it takes you to write 150+ words. Without that knowledge it is difficult to allow yourself extra planning time. If you have timed yourself and know you can write 160 words in about 11 minutes, you know that you have 9 minutes to spend planning your answer; and remember, the more you plan the better your answer :-)

#IELTS, #First and #CAE students - today we did the #practice #exam #day in school. It is always difficult to know how well you might do in the real exam, so a good way to find out is to attend one of our practice exam days. You sit all the written papers under exam conditions, and can find out what parts you can do well in, where you need to study more, and most importantly of all, make all those silly mistakes BEFORE you sit the exam for real! :-) Really, really tired now though!
