Description

Taste Before You Waste Kingston is an independent and horizontally lead initiative which aims to raise awareness about the problem of food waste at production and consumer levels, and actively work on reducing waste on a local level. We aim to collect fruit, vegetables and other food products from stores around Kingston that would have otherwise been thrown out, and then we proceed to organize free food markets. The purpose of these markets is to redistribute food that would usually be wasted as well as simultaneously educating the Kingston community on food waste sustainability.
