Tastebuds, a quaint cafe which prides itself in homemade cuisine and warm and inviting atmosphere in the heart of old Buena Vista neighbourhood.
Tastebuds is located in the heart of Buena Vista District surrounded by post World War 1 homes in a very mature part of Saskatoon. Located on Lorne Ave. a tree lined street, it is situated on the corner of Lorne Ave. & 2nd St. E. which makes for ample parking and ease of access. Tastebuds is within walking distance to beautiful Broadway and Victoria Avenues and in very close proximity to our downtown area as well as the Western Development Museum, the Prairieland Exhibition Park and the Willows Golf & Country Club. Tastebuds prides itself in homestyle cuisine with numerous home made soups such as our famous "Potato Dill" as well as our extra large sandwiches made with fresh locally made bread. Our dessert counter offers a variety of pastries, pies, cakes, cookies and the list goes on and on and on. We have approximately 20 or more different dessert choices each day. All of the items mentioned are prepared on site in our kitchen. Tastebuds cafe, formerly a groceteria was transformed into this quaint neighborhood restaurant in May of 1996. With the inviting patio for relaxing summer days and the warmth of the fireplace indoors for our cold winter nights, Tastebuds has it all. Since then it has grown into a place of comfort for the Buena Vista neighborhood and has become a central meeting place for residents all over our beautiful city of Saskatoon. For all your catering needs we also provide a catering menu. We look forward to seeing you soon.
