Description
Michael sensei first began training at the age of 8 in Wado Ryu and Wado Kai Karate and after achieving his black belt in his teen years, he moved on to different styles such as Goju Ryu, Korean and freestyle kickboxing and GKR karate, thus developing his Martial Arts repertoire further. He began teaching in 2007 after finding a passion for helping people and seeing people develop through the Martial Arts. He is a current student and active JKS and WTF Tae Kwondo member and in the past, has competed in tournaments of regional, national and international events gaining medallist positions. Mike was the Sheffield coach for the Yorkshire squad of the national team. Having advancing his skills both physically, mentally and spiritually, he decided to develop his own unique system of Martial Art, which led Tatakai to be founded. His teaching values include respecting yourself and others, as well as providing a safe and fun environment to train in for all ages and abilities.
