Tatami is a mat made of rice straw, used as floor covering, for people to sit, sleep and rest in Japanese tradition. In the same manner, we want TATAMI to be a place where guests can rest their bodies and minds to enjoy sumptuous and delightful modern Japanese cuisine prepared by our Chef who is so passionate about Japanese food, in a hospitable environment. As Virgina Woolf once mentioned: “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.” …we want to give our guests a chance to dine well.
