In many cases they are too embarrassed or discouraged to even attend class. Teachers seeing this problem spend hundreds of dollars of their own funds to buy supplies for their students who otherwise would have none. These students and teachers need help. At Teachers' Treasures we are Helping Teachers Help Kids! Since establishment in 2000, we have distributed over $30 million worth of free school supplies. Eligible teachers shop once every month selecting the free supplies they need for their classroom.

Description
One person can make a difference! For us it started with one person with a desire to help at-risk kids. In 2000, if she would have said she was going to distribute $30 million worth of free school supplies, no one would have believed her.... but it happened! She started our free supply store for teachers and now we are helping over 200 schools, hundreds of teachers and affecting the lives of 100,000-plus students annually. Be part of the the solution, join in our effort. We need volunteers to help staff the store... We need product to fill our shelves ... We need dollars to keep the program operating.
