Description

The Teaching Sex Ed blog is a collaboration between students and faculty at Widener University’s Center for Human Sexuality Studies. The Center trains graduate students in sexuality education, specifically the methods and content used to deliver information to people of all ages about sex and sexuality. Here at Teaching Sex Ed, we will post about the development of sexuality education materials, curriculum, lesson plans, etc., and also will discuss the ways in which educational philosophies and ideologies impact sexuality education. Students and faculty will post about theories and methodologies by suggest best practices and by connecting them to real programs that exist and are accessible online. Please join the conversation by commenting, asking questions, adding new resources, and critiquing our work. We aim for this to be a dynamic and engaging community that thrives on its participants’ perspectives and real life sex ed.
