Bill joined Sun Life in 1997, then Mutual Life of Canada and began his career in the Financial Planning Industry. Enjoying success early in his career, he was able to maximize opportunity for expansion and in 2003, Bill and his former partner Brian Shaw, incorporated Shaw McBay Insurance & Financial Solutions Inc. After nine successful years in business together they decided to go their separate ways. Faced with the opportunity to start from scratch with so much experience, Bill closely examined all of his business practices, markets and processes. The process of financial planning is one that involves educating a client on all the options they have to consider and then helping them to make the best choices for them, today and in the future. However, it doesn’t end there. As a mentor to his clients, Bill believes that it is his role to regularly monitor the progress of their financial plan and offer suggestions as they move through the many stages of their life.
