Technical Vocational High School, is the leading vocational high school in the West End of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Part of the Winnipeg School Division. Tec Voc was founded in the 1950s by the Winnipeg School Division with the goal of creating the top technical high school in the province of Manitoba. Tec Voc is located in the City of Winnipeg, in the West End. Tec Voc offers an outstanding vocational program and is a leader in Canadian education. Today Tec-Voc remains one of the most active, creative schools in Canada combining the excellence of our technical programs with the opportunities for students to pursue their academic dreams. Our commitment to career education, essential skills and Workplace Safety and Health prepare our students for strong futures. The Tec Learning Centre, our Study Skills program and the Tec-Voc Scholarship and Education Fund support them in their learning. Activities such as Tec-Voc Speaks, Dance Tec Company, DECA, the annual elementary school Christmas Party, the Life Bus, Tec Intramurals, the annual Arts celebration, Career Fair, Mentorship programs, Skills Canada and the Fun and Field day round out the students’ lives providing motivation and spirit. In terms of physical size Tec is the largest high school in Manitoba, it has a population of around 1400 students and is in the top 5 for student population in the province.

Salsa Explosion Dance Company is a dance school specializing in Salsa, but which encompasses Bachata, Merengue, and Cha Cha Cha as well. Committed to promoting and encouraging Salsa education and performance in Winnipeg.
