Tender Touch Ministries, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) Non-profit Charity Organization. Tender Touch Ministries, Inc. was founded on August 30, 2010, and on June 27, 2012, became a tax-exempt charity under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue. It is comprised of a staff fortified with over 20 years of experience in the humanitarian services arena. Our primary purpose is to render immutable assistance to the needy.
Specifically, Tender Touch Ministries is committed to work tirelessly to bring-forth a richer lifestyle to those who are less fortunate in the Long Beach and Orange County, CA region. Our focus and passion derive from eye-opening statistics. According to the 2008 Orange County Indicators, the number of people that become homeless in a given year is estimated at nearly 35,000. Orange County Department of Education McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Assistance Act reports over 22,000 homeless children as of 2008-2009. Yet the approximately 441 temporary shelters can only provide 2,647 beds for the homeless on any given night. This means there is a severe shortage of help for those less fortunate. Alarming? You bet. Together, we have the opportunity to be guardians of America's deprived, no matter where they live and how their hard-hit families struggle. Without our help, without pulling together, many simply might not make it, and that would be a tragedy.
