AVAILABLE SERVICES We offer our services to everyone, regardless of who they are or where they came from. In light of our Mission, these are some of the services that we provide at our facility: -- A meeting space for the recovery community -- A large hall/ballroom with a small stage and commercial kitchen for the community to use for events -- A recovery store with literature, recovery cards, 12-step trinkets, coffee and snacks -- Computers (whether to keep in communication with friends and family, apply for jobs, or improve computer skills) with free wi-fi, and we’re currently looking for computer software that can help improve people's lives (e.g. literacy programs, etc.) -- A small library, and we're always accepting book donations -- Social services resource information, and we’re looking to expand our resource information to include brochures and booklets from available community services -- A board with space for anyone to post (e.g. available jobs, rooms for rent, groups, etc.) -- A lounge area with television for recreation -- Ping-pong and pool tables -- Social events (e.g. movie nights, dances, talent shows, game nights, poetry slams, and many others) Most importantly, we offer friendly faces and a safe place to be. We have put on free food distribution events and plan to keep doing so. We have made donations of food and goods to other local nonprofits like CASA, Turning Point and Hannah's Homeless. We have also supported other community events like the St. Petersburg Pride Parade. We are currently members of Keep Saint Petersburg Local, LocalShops1, the Grand Central District Association and the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce. TO DONATE In addition to financial donations, items that are important to the successful continuation of our Mission include: paper products, cleaning supplies, books, packs of soda cans and water bottles, packages/boxes of individual snacks, coffee grounds, commercial-grade coffee and espresso machines, office supplies such as pens, notebooks and computer paper, computers, learning software, wall-mountable brochure and letter holders.
