Description
Het TextielMuseum is een dynamisch en creatief museum in bedrijf waar heden en verleden samen komen. Textiel wordt getoond vanuit verschillende disciplines: design, kunst, techniek en geschiedenis. Het maakproces van textiel staat hierbij centraal. Bezoekers zijn er getuige van hoe producten en objecten worden en werden ontwikkeld. Een divers aanbod van tentoonstellingen en activiteiten toont de bezoekers vakmanschap en creativiteit en inspireert om zelf actief deel te nemen. De locatie van het museum weerspiegelt het heden en verleden. Een deel van het museum is gehuisvest in voormalige textielfabrieken (Rijksmonument).
