Greetings! My name is Thad Gerardot. I’ve lived and worked in Fort Wayne my entire life, and I’m deeply passionate about improving the quality of life here in my hometown. As a first time candidate for political office, I seek to bring a fresh perspective to the Statehouse. My priorities will be to strengthen Fort Wayne’s economy, strengthen our schools and strengthen our neighborhoods. When I talk to voters in our community, there seems to be a common understanding that these are bipartisan problems that will require bipartisan solutions. Unfortunately, progress on these issues is too often stalled by political gridlock, robbing Hoosier families of the positive results that they expect from their leaders. I hope to be a common sense problem solver who works with members of both parties to achieve these results. Hoosiers know that our party affiliation means nothing when measured against the strength of our ideas, and I hope to take that wisdom with me to the Statehouse.
