MORE ABOUT 119 & OUR FACEBOOK POSTING POLICY 119 Ministries is a ministry dedicated to seeking, teaching and living out the truth of the Word. Our purpose is to seek and bring the truth to all nations, unlearn false doctrines and traditions of men, and to equip the body to live and practice the Word as God originally intended. We find that continuously examining the Scriptures (in the same Hebraic first century context and perspective in which they were written and understood) reveals to His people much more understanding, as opposed to the more common Greek mindset that is a couple thousand years removed. We firmly believe in testing all doctrine to His Word and only holding on to what is good. Any belief that may fail such a test (regardless of that particular doctrine's origin or even its popularity) is systematically rejected. We seek to search the scriptures daily, in the same way Paul commended the Bereans in determining what was true. Through the leading and teaching of the Spirit we aim to bring 100% pure truth to all nations, teaching them to obey everything He commanded. We recognize that this is not always easily done, and we welcome friendly and truth seeking engagement from fellow believers in His perfect Word, as we also believe iron sharpens iron. We expect to challenge you and also desire to be challenged-all under our unified desire to seek, understand, and apply His one and only Truth as revealed in His Word. 119 FACEBOOK POSTING POLICY We are pleased that discussions appear to be increasing exponentially on the 119 Facebook page. There has been (and likely rightfully so) a directly correlated increase in privately shared concerns about some of the posts on the 119 page. This is a natural result of increased activity. There are only a couple of us able to monitor the activity. It is increasingly difficult if not impossible to observe all conversations. RULE #1 We would like to encourage all comments to be tested to the fruits of the Spirit before posting. Test Everything, right? If it does not line up, please wordsmith appropriately, or do not post. Ask yourself what your motivation is for posting your comments. RULE #2 We do indeed encourage all to "Test Everything" ...however, if your post does not line up with the basics of our stated beliefs (meaning the WHOLE Bible to be truth), then we ask you to do the following; Email us privately first to discuss your opposition to what 119 Ministries teaches. On small matters, this is not a big deal, especially if handled maturely (use common sense and discernment to determine small from large doctrinal issues). On large issues, or really passionate opposition, email us first privately so we can address and respond the best that we can (when we are able, please be patient). OUR GOAL Our passion and goal is to deliver the Torah to the nations, as exampled and taught by our Messiah Y'shua, as He walked what the Father taught in the TANAKH. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending one's position and vantage point, we can no longer tolerate intentional obstacles to this stated goal. We have been more patient that we likely should have with certain people, and it has caused damage elsewhere. In the end, we will be judged on those errors in allowing it. Going forward we will make every attempt to be more prompt and decisive in addressing behavior that is not compatible with the above. The post will be hidden, and this message will be delivered as a notice. Though we have banned few at this point, repeat frequent flyers in such behaviors will result in temporary or permanent banning. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION AND UNDERSTANDING We request and appreciate everyone's understanding this protocol. We desire to maintain an environment in which one can "test everything" AND maintain shalom AND learn or unlearn as needed. This does NOT mean people can no longer disagree, what it means is disagree and discuss appropriately, in the right way. Stay calm. Be patient. Be respectful. Be helpful. Be kind. We NEVER delete posts or ban others simply because they disagree. We encourage all to "Test Everything" There are plenty who still post their challenges and disagreements on 119 Facebook, and have done so for quite some time. But they do such in a polite, calm, respectful, and truth-seeking manner. Those who post publicly and do not follow such a protocol will indeed be deleted and banned, not because of what was said, but how it was said. Those who wish to submit discussion that is not consistent with the fruits of the spirit are welcome to email us at info@119ministries.com and talk to us however they would like, where it will not offend and bother others. We hope that is understandable. Most who get posts deleted or hidden receive a note as to why, citing our posting policy. Repeat offenders only trying to cause trouble (and there have been several as many know) result in banning. If there are any questions or concerns, please contact us. Also, 119 is a ministry that is growing in the amount of attention it takes, yet has less and less time to offer, so, that being said, though we may hear your disagreement with us on various issues, we can not always respond immediately, or to the extent we would like. It can take months if not years to get teachings released, thus, we remind that patience is also a fruit of the Spirit. THE POSTING OF OTHER WEBSITES ON THE 119 FACEBOOK PAGE We certainly appreciate discussions, but we are also unable to permit the blanket spamming of other websites. We simply do not have the personal bandwidth to determine if there is dangerous content on every link. There is a responsibility we own in providing a vehicle and forum for discussions. We ask that if there is disagreement, typed personal posts on the disagreement are very welcome, as long as done in kindness and respect. We reserve the right to remove any posts, not necessarily because we do not agree, but we simply do not have time to inspect every link. Thank you for your understanding.
