Description
We are portraying a military unit encamped or in the field therefore unit participants will dress as men of 18 years and older, in the ranks of the Lancaster Co. Pa. Militia, Camp followers are welcome, portraying proper women’s roles of the day, laundress, cooks, visiting wives and sweethearts, etc. and will adhere to the same camp rules & clothing guide line as the men: All garments should be of proper 1770’s pattern and construction ~ Machine stitching should be kept to a minimum. The units main focus will be on Living History events, encampments, displays and firing demonstration, altho we may do some battle reenacting it will not be our main focus, also we hope to be able to do live firing competitions as well. Anyone 18 years and older may participate in the field with the Company once a basic kit is acquired, clothing and accouterments. Please message us for more info.
