The 304th Sustainment Brigade activated on 16 September 2007 at March Air Reserve Base in Riverside, Calif. The Brigade is one of 35 in the U.S. Army that was structured to support the changing combat and support environment. Modular in structure, the Brigade’s expeditionary capability allows it to rapidly deploy anywhere in the world and provide sustained logistics support to the war-fighter in a joint, interagency and multinational environment. The 304th SBDE took the unit identification of the now inactivated 304th Materiel Management Command once located in West Los Angeles, Calif.
