33 South Sixth, formerly known as International Multifoods Tower, is a skyscraper in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and stands 52 stories tall at 668ft. Its name comes from its address: 33 South Sixth Street, Minneapolis. It was completed in 1983 as headquarters for International Multifoods Corporation which occupied the structure until 1997 when it moved to suburban Wayzata. Although the corporate offices relocated, the name remained until 2003 under the terms of its lease. Adjacent to the tower is Minneapolis City Center Mall which occupies the ground level, sky way, and third levels.Description33 South Sixth Street is a 52-story office building located in the heart of Minneapolis's 64-square block skyway system. Construction on the building began in 1981 and it opened in 1983 as one of the tallest buildings in Minneapolis. Current tenants include Target Corporation, and law firms Meagher & Geer, and Stoel Rives. The typical floors are 24700sqft for a total of 1170000sqft of office space and 489000sqft in the retail mall.The attached Minneapolis City Center Mall consists of a retail mall, renovated in 2005, with six skyway connections, the Minneapolis Marriott at City Center, a 583-room full-service four star hotel, and a 687-stall parking garage. The Mall is anchored by Fogo de Chao, Rosa Mexicano, Sports Authority opening in late 2015, and Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th opening in mid 2016. The mall also includes a mix of national retail tenants including Brooks Brothers, Allen Edmonds, General Nutrition Center, UPS, Lee Ann Chin, and others.

The Nicollet Mall station is a light rail station on the METRO Blue Line, Green Line and proposed METRO Orange Line in Minneapolis, Minnesota.This station is located on 5th Street South, between Nicollet Mall and Marquette Avenue in Minneapolis. This is a center-platform station with one traffic lane to the south (westbound) of the platform. Service began at this station when the Blue Line opened on June 26, 2004. The Orange Line will begin using this station when it begins service in 2019 and plans are to have the proposed Minneapolis Streetcar System's Nicollet Ave/Central Ave, Broadway/Washington Ave and Chicago Ave lines use this station.The Nicollet Mall platform is probably the most heavily used station on the whole line, as it is closest to the major buildings of downtown.
