Description

The name of the restaurant, 4649 is a play on words as the numbers when read out loud read Yon-Roku-Shi-Ku, which sounds close to the Japanese word Yoroshiku. Yoroshiku means "pleased to meet you" or "kind regards". Hokkaido and Seattle share the same topography and climate, 風土(fuudo) so the chefs believe that the flavors used in the dishes mirrors what Seattleites enjoy. "Yoroshiku" is the restaurants motto and promise to our customers that they can expect great food and great service.
