EPISODE 3 UPDATE #4 In a huge flurry, a regular "North-Pole-Express", of activity, I have completed Act 3 of "Karpen the Jew". All that remains are the commercial spots and then I will post this very special Christmas show!

EPISODE 3 UPDATE #3: Acts 1 & 2, plus the Epilogue are complete! Act 3 is in progress -- I needed some particular music, which I found today.

A new count of Pulp-Pourri Theatre's Season Two reveals that I have inadvertently scheduled a Baker's Dozen of episodes. Well, I have promised them so yer gonna git'em! Yay you!

EPISODE 3 UPDATE #1: Since Episode 3 is the Pulp-Pourri Theatre's first-ever Christmas show, I have started working on it right away, even before Episode 2 has gone cold. This morning I edited and combined the dialogue for Act 1. Since this episode is only half as long as 1 and 2, I should be done pretty quickly!

EPISODE 2 UPDATE #10: Part Two is complete! I wrote the three commercials last night and recorded them this morning. Two of them are based on ideas from friends. A third idea was received, but will be used in a future episode. All that remains is a promo for someone else's show, which I hope to receive tomorrow, and then I'll be able to post it Monday. Yaaaayyy!

EPISODE 2 UPDATE #9: I misrepresented my status earlier today: when I said "only the epilogue remains", what I meant was, "only the epilogue and three commercials remain, which I have neither written nor recorded." Eep. But the epilogue IS done now. Yaaaaaayy!

EPISODE 2 UPDATE #8: Almost done! I have mixed the first 3 acts with music and SFX, and only the epilogue remains. We can expect a release of Part Two of Episode Two very soon!

EPISODE 2 UPDATE #6: Dialogue for Act 2 of Part 2 is now spliced together, and sounds wonderful. Boy, can this Lutz guy write dialogue, or what?

EPISODE 2 UPDATE #5: Work on Part 2 has begun! This morning I cobbled together all of the dialogue for Act 1. New characters are introduced in this act, which features the voice talents of such awesome actors as Geri Elliff, Dana Gonsalves, Debby Leal and Skeeter Ullman -- not to mention the voices of those who appeared in Part 1.

EPISODE 2 UPDATE #4: Act 3 of Part 1 is complete! I have to record some new "commercials" that I've written, and then I'll post the full first part. Watch this space for that important announcement!

As an audio drama writer, producer and director, I am thankful for the many wonderful actors I have had the privilege of working with over the past year. It was, in fact, just a little more than a year ago that the very first episode of Pulp-Pourri Theatre came out, and the number of talented people who have passed through my portals keeps growing. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, and I hope you are spending it with people you love!

Because my son has the entire week off for Thanksgiving, I do, too. And you know what that means? (PAAAAR-TAAAAY! No, no, just kiddin'.) It means that I'll have extra production time for the next two episodes of Pulp-Pourri Theatre, and I won't have to get up at 3:30AM to do it. Yeah. That's what the man said. Woot!

GENERAL UPDATE: - Whilst working so diligently on MACBETH, I was also arranging for actors in the next two episodes of Pulp-Pourri Theatre to come in and record their lines. I have never worked so far ahead on these episodes before, and it feels really good to have so many of the required voices "in the can".
