With over 20 years of successful venue and event management within the metro Detroit entertainment industry, Janel Stone formed 7 Stone Management in July of 2013. Stone started her career as an event manager and entertainment service provider by managing venues and booking live bands for local venues (Bullfrog Bar & Grill, Greektown Casino-Hotel) and over the course of two decades – expanded her forte into event planning and promotions. In 2010, she joined Embarco Entertainment as the Vice President of Booking and Event Coordination. During this time Real Detroit Weekly readers voted Embarco “Best Promoters” in 2012, 2013 & 2014. Stone foresaw a need to expand into 7 Stone Management – a multi-service entity for her clients entertainment needs. 7 Stone Management offers a wide variety of venue-specific services such as consulting for restaurants, bars and venues; Staff screening, Hiring and training; Inventory and theft control; Risk management; Tips training and certifications; Corporate events; Liquor and beer industry; and Private events. Entertainmentwise, 7 Stone Management has vast expertise within the film, music and festival industry; Event planning; Sponsorship assistance; Production services; Public relations; Marketing and promotional services; Signature promotional or brand ambassador models. About Janel Stone, 7 Stone Management Founder: Janel Stone has worked in the metro Detroit entertainment and hospitality industry for over 21 years. Stone is a University of Michigan Honors Graduate who managed local live music venues for over 15 years, before signing with Greektown Casino-Hotel as the Beverage and Entertainment Manager.
