Focused on facilitating the transformation of ideas into results through a process of creativity and diligence, 818 DESIGN HOUSE is a creative space that combines artist studios, private living quarters, and a presentation space. Within its walls, talented and like-hearted people show up as the best expressions of themselves. This causes what they are authentically and passionately inspired about to exist as a side effect of them bringing their skills and talents into the space. 818 has gathered elements of glass, ceramics, metal, painting, photograph ,music, and screen printing to create a diverse working environment. This open format studio develops individual and collective projects that are less bound by ones current knowledge. The concept is to create a space supporting creative potential and expression, while being guided by concepts that provide personal growth, collective innovation and unlimited creativity. Giving creators the ability to contribute what they are good at toward a goal they love. The process leads to development of the space, its members and our surrounding world.
