The AGC is a professional, comprehensive, counseling center located within minutes from the heart of Uptown Charlotte The Angel Gabriel Company offers professional, comprehensive counseling from a Christian perspective for the whole family. The practice is located in a calm setting, just minutes from uptown Charlotte and is geared towards giving clients competent care by qualified professionals. We strive to meet or exceed patient expectations, not just in terms of diagnosis and treatment but also in hospitality, convenience, and patient satisfaction. Our goal is to be as accommodating to today's busy schedule as possible, while at the same time keeping the focus on the patient's well-being. Upon the first visit, clients will fill out brief paperwork and then meet with Dr. Rogers for the initial counseling session. If the client is a child or adolescent, Dr. Rogers will first meet with the caretaker to discuss the relevant concerns and then commence therapy with the client. COUNSELING MODALITY: The Angel Gabriel Company works primarily from a Christian Counseling Model and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) model. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a counseling model that examines the client’s thoughts and behaviors to help them to bring about their desired change. CBT is seen as collaborative effort between the therapist and the client. The Christian Counseling Model helps clients to examine their current thoughts and actions from a biblical perspective to make decisions from a Christian world view.
