The Angel Inn is a traditional 17th century pub set in the sleepy East Northamptonshire village of Yarwell. We are proud to offer a relaxed, casual and friendly atmosphere, hearty pub food and always a warm welcome. This is how good pubs used to be - a real pub for real people. Lovely warm open fire, a great range of real ales and real ciders as well as being one of the few pubs able to offer Westons Cider Ice. Put some sounds on the jukebox, order more food then you can possibly eat, a game of darts or pool? take a seat in our huge beer garden - and the dog is more than welcome to join you, inside or out.

How To Get to The Angel Inn Yarwell

no buses round these parts I'm afraid!

Hi everyone - sorry for the delay in updating, but finally the chance to sit at the laptop! WOOFSTOCK 14 = tick! What a fab weekend - thanks to everyone that made it happen - the bands that played were all fantastic - so our heartfelt thanks to all bands and musicians for your time and support, a real pleasure to host every single one of you (The Durt'hee Ting Tings a possible exception!). Thanks to the Angel staff, bar & bbq (with brilliant much-needed guest appearances from Amy & Gix) - we were all taken dry over a barrel somewhat on Saturday but were all lubed up ready for the Sunday reprisal - still smiling! Love you all. Hats off to the amazing Tommo and Jimbo B for the sound and hosting skills and keeping spirits high and buckets shaking! Thank you to everyone that came the event - your support is so very much appreciated and hope you had a great weekend with us. A lovely crowd both days making for a great atmosphere and pleasure to be around. Finally thanks to the villagers who did not attend for not complaining about the event as that always mars the spirit and intention to raise as much money as we can for an amazing charity - The Retired Greyhound Trust. Our Woofstock 2014 total (subject to auction bidders coming good with the cash!) is looking to have smashed the £3k threshold - we're reckoning around £3200, but we'll update you when we have the chance to give specifics. Based on that - well done all! Go get a greyhound and celebrate! The 850+ pictures will be up shortly! Hope to see you soon - Nick, Di and team Woofstock. (not tonight though - you drank us dry. 'Normal' service resumes tomorrow)- whatever that is.

Oh and please be patient and please be nice... we are working as fast as we can!

With us needing to do some essential maintenance work to the pub and you (trying to) quit drinking for January, The Angel Inn Yarwell is currently closed while we undergo our upheaval. We hope to be back up and shining like a new pin towards the end of the month - we will update you here with our progress. Remember - absence makes the heart (and liver) grow stronger.
