Description

Art of Movement is a brand new dance convention with a few new twists. Our state of the art format provides an innovative design furthering each dancer’s personal journey through continuing dance education. AOM endeavors to reinforce the benefits each dancer can take home from a convention weekend. Our convention inspires dancers through a challenging dance curriculum, extensive learning opportunities and valuable insight provided by our renowned teaching staff. On top of the elite instruction platform, AOM seeks to bolster each dancer’s confidence by providing an enjoyable and supportive environment designed to encourage one’s unique self-expression. Art of Movement’s cutting-edge workshop design offers challenging dance training by distinguished instructors with extensive backgrounds in their chosen genres. The majority of our classes are 1 hour and 15 minutes long, allowing an optimal time for quality instruction ensuring dancers truly get the most out of each class. We feel the dancer’s weekend should be structured for intensive training and superior education in order to acquire the valuable insight each instructor has to offer. We are also committed to providing students a safe and nurturing environment where they feel inspired and rejuvenated eager to take on their following dance week and impending competitive season. Unfortunately, many times when dancers leave a convention weekend they are exhausted and beat up from the hours and crazy schedule they have endured. Art of Movement is here to change that negative outcome! We will be touring 5 US cities for our 2015-2016 tour. Each event will include two full days of workshop featuring convention-style classes. In addition to the challenging dance instruction schedule, there will be special guest instructors announced for each city. At each event, AOM is also proud to include bonus classes on Friday evening at no additional charge.
