The Arts Commission is Ohio's longest-standing arts nonprofit, founded to serve the artists and creatives of the Greater Toledo area in 1959, and administering the City of Toledo's Public Art Collection since 1977. The Arts Commission advocates for local artists and arts organizations in the community, and offers a variety of programming that inspires youth, promotes local arts and culture, aids in professional development for artists, and contributes to the revitalization of Toledo's economy.
