Description

The Berry Breast Support is offered by Saskatoon mom, Fred Berry. I'm the owner of Mothers' Melody Pregnancy and Parenting Market (www.facebook.com/MothersMelody), a labour and postpartum doula, lactation educator, babywearing educator, and car seat technician. I also have a biochemistry degree from the University of Saskatchewan. I have one daughter, Brett, who was born in 2010. When I'm not spending time with her and my husband, or helping families with pregnancy and parenting, I am probably making cloth dolls (www.facebook.com/Lullaberries), or tutoring university genetics students.

Services available from The Berry Breast Support are as follows: Birth Doula Care I'm an experienced birth doula accepting one client each month. In addition to our prenatal visits and my attendance at your birth, The Berry Breast Doula Care includes a breastfeeding class, a babywearing consult, a car seat safety inspection, and three hours of breastfeeding support. Call 306-612-2297 or email theberrybreast@gmail.com to book a free informational meeting. 2014 fees: $800 Breastfeeding Classes I offer breastfeeding classes with my lovely teaching partner, Martha Neovard, through Living Skies, Living Milk (www.facebook.com/LivingSkiesLivingMilk). Our 2.5 hour class is offered on the fourth Wednesday of every month at Birth Rhythms Pregnancy and Parenting Health Center (www.facebook.com/BirthRhythmsInternational) at 248 3rd Avenue South in Saskatoon. This class focuses on how to establish your breastfeeding relationship and what to expect in the first few weeks of your baby's life. Breastfeeding Consults One-on-one breastfeeding support is offered in-home and in-hospital. I can help with the day to day questions of breastfeeding, such as latch and positioning troubles. I cannot diagnose or treat medical concerns.
