Description
Here you will find information on The Berry Lady in the field and beyond with her delicious strawberries. Coral-Anne has chosen to grow her strawberries the best way possible. She uses either organic manure to prepare the ground before planting the young strawberry plants, or plants rye that is dung into the ground to nourish it. She does not use pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, or any other "cides" at any time on the field. She uses well water and rain to water the plants. Then the strawberries are left in the field to ripen to a sweetness that would be hard to find in any other strawberry on the market. Planting, weeding, and picking are all done by hand, earning the workers gorgeous tans! You will find The Berry Lady, Coral-Anne, at Farmer's Markets in the Fraser Valley and Vancouver with a table full of ripe berries for your tastebud's delight from May to September. Farm Gate sales are available as well.
