The Bridge's mission is to promote the development of healthy, productive, self-sufficient youth and families by providing comprehensive educational, social and health programs to those in need. * Located in Jacksonville, FL, The Bridge of Northeast Florida, Inc. is a not-for-profit, award winning and nationally recognized provider of comprehensive educational, social, health and employment services for children and youth. * The Bridge has a 30 year history of service to children and youth from Jacksonville’s poorest families where the risk is the highest for negative outcomes. * After school and summer camp programs serve more than 800 children free of charge at The Bridge’s Springfield campus. * Healthy Families provides case management and parenting education to over 325 mothers of babies and preschool children. * Satellite locations engage more than 1,500 additional children and youth at seven Team Up sites and Southwind Villas throughout Jacksonville. * High School seniors are eligible for Bridge scholarships. *This summer over 150 youth were employed through Bridge camps, BridgeWorks and the Tipping the Scale partnership with Baptist Health. * The Bridge is one of five sites city-wide to host a Duval County Schools Alternative to Out of School Suspension program. *The Bridge is now home to a Duval County Public School, called School For The Future. This school helps over 90 youth that are at least 2 years behind academically catch up their education and get back on track with their peers.
