+About The Cake Tailor of Manchester+ We believe that the centrepiece to your celebration should be an exquisite cake that provides a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. We also believe that being on a 'special' diet should not exclude you from cake delight. We can create cakes suitable for Halal, Kosher and vegan diets, with 'can't tell the difference' Gluten Free cakes being our particular speciality. Each cake is made fresh to order. After consultation we will design a unique cake for you, reflecting your personality and tastes. Working according to your budget, we will offer you a choice of luscious cake and decadent frosting flavours, all made using the finest quality ingredients. To personalise your cake, we will create individually hand crafted decorations, using fondant, chocolate, and marzipan. We like decorations that can be eaten because we believe it's more fun if you can eat the WHOLE cake! Your cake will be presented on a covered board, and we add the final flourish with coordinating ribbon trim and candles. It is always an honour to be asked to contribute to someone's celebration and we take great pride in helping to make your special occasion memorable. +About Me+ I hold a first class honours degree in Environmental Health, with special interest in food safety and food microbiology. I am passionate about all food but particularly cakes! I am self taught in baking and decorating: some years ago, after finding that I am gluten intolerant and being unhappy with the limited (and exceedingly expensive!) treats available to purchase, I began to experiment with my own gluten free recipes at home. This developed into making and decorating cakes for friends and family, many of whom also have particular dietary needs. Working with clients who are variously vegan, vegetarian, on low sugar diets, and from the Muslim and Jewish faiths, I have developed delicious recipes with carefully sourced ingredients, that are guaranteed to be suitable for these dietary needs. Whether you're looking for a batch of cupcakes for an afternoon tea party, a wedding cake to serve 200 or something in between, I'd love to bake for you!
