Carroll recently developed the 750 acre Birch Creek Business Park in eastern Guilford County. The park is anchored by American Express’s new $300 million data center. When fully developed, the park will add approximately 4,000 new jobs and $700 million of new investment to the area. As one of the largest land owners in the Triad, The Carroll Companies continues to look for projects that are innovative and add value. One such recent project is Carroll’s current involvement in the 17 story Wachovia building. This building was vacant for over 15 years and is in the very heart of downtown across from Center City Park. Carroll redeveloped this building spending over $40 million transforming the building into a mixed-use project with 98 luxury condominium units, offices and retail. This project has been transformed from a visual and financial blight on the City, to a modern styled hub of housing, business and shopping.
