Description

The Cask & Still, formally know as The Volunteer Arms, is best know for its featuring in the classic Irvine Welsh novel, Trainspotting. Now under new ownership as of July 2014, we have decided to revamp the place and flood you with new Ales/Bitters sourced locally and from around the world. We pride ourselves on the conditioning and well being of the casks, ensuring your first pint tastes as good as the last. On the Spirit front, we offer a large selection of gin, vodka & whiskies of which, the majority are locally sourced giving you a true flavour of the Capitals finest spirits. Feeling peckish? Not to worry, we also offer a selection of award winning pies, complimented with a variety of pickles & chutney.
