Description

Both myself (Victoria) and Halde welcome you to our Beautiful Cawdor Village Bed and Breakfast. Cawdor Village Bed and Breakfast is the only B&B in the village of Cawdor and is nestled wonderfully in the centre of the village. We are a stones throw from our local pub and restaurant The Cawdor Tavern, 5 minute walk from both the Village shop/ cafe and the Delicious 'Darcey's cafe'. Many of our guests will be keen to explore Cawdor's historical castle (http://www.cawdorcastle.com/Home.aspx) which if you look carefully you can see through the woodland which surrounds the village. Of course many of you will want to visit the magical Cawdor Castle and gardens which you can do so by either taking a short walk to the main gates or jump in the car for a short two minute journey, we couldn't be closer. Whether you plan on spending a couple of hours, a whole day or even longer at Cawdor Castle, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained. Practice your skills on the putting green before venturing out onto the golf course or explore the many nature trails surrounding the castle and village. We have marked out a few walks through the stunning woodland which will cater for all levels of fitness, maps along with local attraction leaflets can be found in our visitors folder. There is so much to do and see in and around Cawdor and we have no doubt there will be something for everything when you come visit and explore! During your enjoyable and unique stay at the Cawdor Village Bed and Breakfast you can look forward to a wonderful experience which includes ; - a luxury King-Size Bed utilising therapeutic mattress - a beautiful shower with the purest of water you will ever find - a soak in a free-standing roll-top bath - free Wi-fi and internet access - private entrance giving you total freedom and privacy - free and secure off-road parking - personal television and dvd library - a variety of teas and coffee (both granulated and fresh) - Fresh milk supplied for teas and coffee's in your very own mini fridge - a ready supply of locally made shortbread - We have a single pull up bed and travel cot bed which can be made up with prior notice BREAKFAST A selection of cereals, muesli and granola to get you started along with yoghurts, fresh fruit juice, tea and coffee. A choice of - Porridge Full Scottish breakfast 2 rashers of locally sourced bacon, sausage and Stornoway black pudding, eggs, tomato, mushrooms, and a tattie scone. (Vegetarian version: vege sausage and vege haggis in place of meat) Breakfast Rolls Bacon or Egg or Sausage, on fresh rolls. Light Bite Eggs your way on toast with cooked tomatoes and mushrooms If you have any dietary requirements please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. How To Get to The Cawdor Village Bed & Breakfast

The Cawdor Village Bed and Breakfast is located approximately 12 miles east of Inverness and 5miles West of Nairn and is serviced by a number of local bus routes. During the summer months, their is an exclusive bus service to Cawdor Castle itself which is walking distance to the Bed and Breakfast. Please see www.stagecoachbus.com for more details. There is regular train services to Inverness and to Nairn and numerous Taxi companies in the area. Inverness Airport is approximately 4miles from Cawdor.
