With a name originating from a famous Welshmen called William Julian Cayo-Evans, the leader of the 'Free Wales Army', The Cayo is the perfect pub to come and raise a glass to his name. We’re a friendly and welcoming traditional pub with an easy-going atmosphere situated just ten minutes walk from the Millennium Stadium and Cardiff city centre. The Cayo has five en-suite bed and breakfast rooms and a small conference room for hire, so is ideal for business trips, family weekend breaks or sporting events. The long wooden bar, serves a wide range of real ales including an award-winning selection of guest ales - the Cayo was winner of the CAMRA Welsh Pub of the Year Award in 2001 and 2002. Our range of great pub food is just as impressive, why stay home and cook? The rear parking is accessed by a small lane to the side. We welcome dogs into the venue.
