Everards; The next step in the journey of The Soul Food Project… Introducing The Church. The Church has been in Birmingham for well over 100 years and now it is going to be the new HQ of The Soul Food Project. This has been a lifelong ambition for founder Carl Finn and now in conjunction with Everard’s Brewery we are happy to be opening the doors of The Church. The Church will be influenced by the New Orleans, French quarter that first inspired us here at Soul Food but firmly rooted in a British pub, we can’t ignore this place’s heritage. We are all about quality that’s why we are delighted to be working with Everards. Like us it’s their first pub venture in Birmingham and we are proud to be partnered with them. Everard’s share our vision of a pub with the concentration firmly on good quality products while bringing something new and exciting to Birmingham. First and foremost this is a pub but it’s also going to be a place we call home, somewhere fresh and playful for Soul Food to continue our journey, bringing together our love of the music, food and the vibrant culture of New Orleans. We wanted somewhere where we could try new things, push things forward and write the next chapter in the story of The Soul Food Project.
