The Claydon Clinic is a purpose built physiotherapy and sports injury rehabilitation centre based in Chelmsford. Our team of physiotherapists are at hand to help with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and sporting injuries across all age groups. Our Physiotherapists have worked with school sports teams, rugby clubs, cycling teams, British Athletics and women’s and girl’s premiership and international footballers. They have also volunteered to work at local charity runs and The London Marathon. Our Facilities: • The Clinic is set in 23 acres overlooking a beautiful lake. • We have six spacious treatment rooms containing state of the art physiotherapy and electrotherapy equipment. • We offer a fully equipped rehabilitation gym, a hard court surface (indoor and outdoor), sand surface ménage as well as grass pitches and a running track. • Shower facilities and refreshments are also available. What do we offer? • Electrotherapy, including; - Biofeedback - Laser Therapy - Muscle Stimulation - Ultrasound - TENS - Interferential - Pulsed Electromagnetic Therapy • Cryocuff and Flowtron therapy for reducing soft tissue swelling • Manual therapy, manipulation and cervical traction • Western medical acupuncture • Core stability training as well as pilates instruction • Prehabilitation – We use functional movement screening to highlight any biomechanical problems which could lead to injury. This is popular preseason with sporting personnel and also with children whilst they are having growth spurts. • Sports massage • We stock a wide range of support braces, crutches, orthotics and ice/heat packs. The Claydon Clinic and our team of physiotherapists are registered with all major insurance companies.
