Every first Sunday of the month, a staple of Gala’s programme since the venue opened in 2002, The Comedy Store continues to pack them in.
The Comedy Store staged one of the first ever live shows at Gala. Bottom of the bill that day was an Irish comedian called Dara O’Briain. Since then a whole host of comics have passed through. Some have gone on to become household names (Michael McIntyre, Jimmy Carr, Milton Jones, Micky Flanagan). Others are just regulars on the touring circuit, performing night after night around the country. The Comedy Store is still at the centre of Gala’s live programme and still packing them in. Once a month, every month, the format hasn’t changed much over the years, but if it ain’t broke… If you fancy a cracking evening of laughter, why not come and join the fun. Contains strong language, recommended age 16+. Why not join us for a pre-show drink between 6pm-7pm, when all beer and lager has 10% off. Tickets are priced from just £8 - £11.
A 5-10 minute walk from Durham Train/Bus Station.
