The Contemporary Dance Company of Western Australia will be recognised as an artistic house producing world-class main stage contemporary dance created with national and international experts. Founding Artistic Director, Raewyn Hill, brings national and international experience to the creation and performance of world-class repertoire and is renowned for her development of exemplary dancers, the programming of visceral and powerful contemporary dance works and the creation of transformative community and education programs.

A quick reminder that we still have places open for our School Holiday program FREERANGE running April 13th – 17th 10am – 4pm at KSAC. All Ensemble members are eligible to participate in the 2015 FREERANGE. Please contact for further information. The cost is $250 for the week.

APRIL FREERANGE SCHOOL HOLIDAY INTENSTIVE A week long workshop program for young dancers aged 8 -15 Monday 13 - Friday -17 April DATE: APRIL 13 – 17TH TIME: 10AM – 4PM SHOWING: 17th April, 6pm LOCATION: King Street Arts Centre COST: $250.00 (plus $30 company membership for new 2015 members) FREERANGE offers dancers intensive experience in dance technique and dance making. Guided by industry professional Nicole Ward, April FREERANGE will focus on creating a dance from celebrated WA author Ken Spillman’s Jake Series. We bring Jake's world to life on the studio floor. During the week we spend time on creative tasks, devising movement material and making our very own performance by Friday afternoon for you to share with family and friends. “Author Spillman and illustrator Nixon work well together to make Jake lovable in the same way that Dennis the Menace was to kids in the 1970s” – The Star, Malaysia This project is open to all Junior/ Youth Ensemble members and general public.
