Hi, I’m Karla and I confess I am somewhat obsessed with food. Although I feel the word ‘obsessed’ is all too readily used in modern discourse, I justify its use here on the basis of my lifelong preoccupation with both creating (and eating!) delicious food and my having memories of cooking and the excitement it gave me going back almost as far as I can remember. By day I am a corporate lawyer. But when I’m not cooking, or eating, or at work, I’m probably out enjoying the Queensland sunshine, maybe running or cycling around Brisbane or hanging out at a local café for the all-important post-exercise coffee and breakfast.
