The Topiary Park has their second installment of their From Book to Film series with The Wizard of Oz this Friday, Aug. 8. Movies begin at dusk (around 8 p.m.) So grab your lawn chair or blanket and popcorn and enjoy a movie among the topiaries, just make sure the monkey topiary doesn't come to life! The third PBJ & Jazz performance is this Saturday, Aug. 9 at the Topiary Park. Bring your family to storytime at the Main Library from 11-11:30 a.m., walk over to the Park for music from noon-1 p.m. featuring Cedric Easton & "Circle of Friends" and wrap up with an art activity from the Columbus Museum of Art from 1-2 p.m. Best of all, it's all free!
Sunday, August 3rd, and runs from 11am-3pm. We hold the market in the parking lot of the Bosco Center on South 6th St and Oak St. The Columbus Flea will be holding their event at the same time, so while we're hoping to have a good turnout, we're also being realistic that it may not be as full of customers as it needs to be. So we're gearing up to have a much more spectacular event on August 17th, where we will have grab bags for our first 20 customers, a kid's "make and take" table organized by the Etsy Team Columbus, musicians, and a few other fun things in the mix
The June meeting of the DDCA Sustainability Subcommittee will be Wednesday June 18th at noon. We will meet at the BOSCO Center at 80 S. 6th St.
