The Duck House is a café-bar situated on the first floor of Derby Rowing Club on the bank of the River Derwent, set in a conservation area at the city end of Darley Park the room offers a tranquil setting with stunning views . Run by Derby based multi award winning Dancing Duck brewery we offer a great selection of drinks including locally brewed real ales and craft beers, artisan ciders and gins, freshly ground fair-trade coffee, speciality teas and scrumptious hot chocolate. We serve all day breakfasts, light lunches and cakes including gluten free and clean options. Opening hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10-4.and Thursday evening 7-10.30 plus Bank holidays. We will be open throughout the week during the Summer. The Duck House (formally known as the River Room) is available for private hire for functions any evenings excluding Thursdays. Maximum capacity is 100 people. We can cater for buffets to suit all budgets. During Autumn, Winter and Spring the room is available for full day hire and has been previously used as a wedding venue on many occasions
