Description

My aim is to establish The Edinburgh Drawing School as a vibrant, full time School and a key component of Edinburgh's creative community. Focusing on traditional, taught, drawing skills, classes will run throughout the day (drop-in classes, block-booking, 'loyalty cards', and Membership of the School will be offered) for 5 or 6 days a week. Classes will be 2 hours long, restricted to a maximum of 8 people per class, and will be taught by professional, practicing artists, using professional life models. Focusing predominantly on life-drawing, there will also be offered Portraiture classes and Still Life classes. There will also be untutored life classes available to professional artists. Members (Friends) of the School will be invited to exclusive events such as talks, demonstrations, and organised drawing trips.
