Description
The Elm Street Center, downtown Greensboro's premeire event space, is home to The Empire and The Regency Rooms. These elegant ballrooms can be used for a wide variety of functions including weddings, large or small parties, Galas, Proms, Conventions, and Tradeshows. Originally built over 60 years ago for Ellis Stone, a locally owned department store, and later home to Thalhimers Department Store. The building has been restorred and recreated to maintain the glamorous look and feel these two stores orignally offered their guests. Each room can accommodate up to 1,000 people and are extremely sophisticated and flexible in their uses.
