The Embankment School was founded by Jessica Costantine and Rachel Winell; two career educators with advanced degrees in education and a combined 28 years’ teaching experience. Having taught domestically and internationally, across a rich array of school systems and settings, Rachel and Jessica have built a best-of-breed curriculum based on their experience teaching at elite International schools, prestigious private schools progressive Friends schools, Montessori schools as well as high performing NYC Public Schools. As Jersey City-based teachers – and mothers of school-aged children – they are committed to making The Embankment School a new and vibrant local alternative for educating children and preparing them for success by “Building a Foundation for Learning”.
