Mindy Farris is both owner and team leader of The Farris Group in association with the top real estate franchise by both volume and agent count, Keller Williams Realty. Her team is a full service real estate business serving buyer and seller clients all over the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Mindy moved to the Dallas area in 1984 and has been a practicing licensed REALTOR since 2003. She serves her office as a member of the Agent Leadership Council at Keller Williams and she is both a mentor and top producer. She accredits her success to a positive mindset and atmosphere, and says the ongoing education provided by Keller Williams, the #1 real estate agency for education, is absolutely critical. She said, “We use the latest in technology to list, market, and sell homes and we take full advantage of all modes of social media to sell homes and locate homes for our buyers.” When asked what is most important to her in terms of building a successful business and team, she responds, “I like to spoil my clients with the best customer care possible, and beyond that, I just do the right thing. It’s that simple.”
Mindy began the first two years of her career as a buyer's representative for a top producing foreclosure team and continued focusing on buyers for a few years after that. Working heavily with buyers for so many years gave her a great eye. She said that because of that experience, she knows what buyers are looking for when they walk into a home. “I know their wants, needs, desires, motivations, and most of all, I know their fears.” Not only is this beneficial to the team’s buyer clients, but she says that knowledge serves her well as the seller’s representative. She has a unique ability to walk in and see a seller’s home through the eyes of the buyer, which sets her apart from other listing agents. “I know how to stage a home to showcase it in its best possible light and can guide the clients in regard to what changes they should make in order to sell very FAST!!” She also has a complete list of service vendors to recommend to her clients, when needed.
Mindy has earned both the Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) and Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS) designations. And she has taken the necessary classes to become a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) and is currently working on the designation. Since she was formerly an English teacher of junior high and high school students, her strengths include organizational and communication skills, as well as PATIENCE! She frequently volunteers her time and resources by contributing to organizations such as Red Day, KW Cares, and KW Central Cares.
Mindy is the mother of two daughters and a son, and there is no place she would rather spend her personal time than with them.
