Professional & Amateur footage Based at Pinewood Studios in the UK, The Film Room are proud to boast their Muller HD wetgate film scanner that can transfer, via high quality scans, 16mm, 9.5mm and 8mm film to either DPX files, uncompressed AVI files or to any format of your choice when utilising Final Cut Pro’s versatile workstation. Using a 2K 3CCD camera the images are crystal clear, even if the original film material may be old and has suffered from too many screenings. This is in part due to the wetgate system that removes dirt and elimates a vast majority of scratches and to the unique restoration and stabilisation software.
