In line with our aims, recent contributions and achievements made as a result of the Friends group include: Provision of a donations box for visitors in the Cathedral entrance Support to Parish pilgrimages Commission of silk banners to be used at major services Sponsorship of concerts at the Cathedral to produce a Cathedral Guide Book Supporting the redesign of the website (2010) funding towards the Sheffield Nativity Supporting the Sam Hiller memorial concert

Becoming a Friend We are always open to new members. You do not need to have any particular connection with the Cathedral. Friends are those who are glad to offer support to the Cathedral and to be kept in touch with its activities. You will also be invited to special social events and visits to places of interest. If you would like to help Sheffield Cathedral to be a place for all people, the Dean and Chapter invite you to become a Friend.
