Description

This is the official Facebook page for The Gaming Place Manchester. Your local gaming venue in the heart of Manchester City Centre. At the moment, we are still in the very early stages of the project, but we will eventually have a location for all you lovely gamers. We will have modern day and retro consoles, from PS4 and Xbox Ones, to SNES and Mastersystem. We will also be including a dedicated "chill out" area, where you can sit and play on your 3DS or Vita, and game with other like minded people. We will host tournements and competions on a regular basis. There will be 2 ways of accessing the venue. There will be a fixed price for a day pass, and memberships for those requent visitors. Prices will be confirmed at a later date. We can do this alone, and so while we are looking at grants and business loans, we are also asking for all gamers to unite, and offer a donation. The less we have to rely on paying back loans, the more money we will have to invest in the latest gaming goodness, and also means cheaper memberships for you guys. We plan to open 5 days a week, from early afternoon to late evening. We will open all weekend, which means we will be closed 2 days during the week. This will be used for maintainance of the equipment.
