So that's the 40th Annual Geelong Eisteddfod in the bag. A massive thank you to all who participated and assisted (both competitors and the committee) to create such a fantastic event.
One more weekend of dancing to go! Thank you to all the performers from the under 16 weekend and congratulations to the under 16 aggregate winner Indya Chilton.
The weekend is nearly upon us again and that means another weekend on fantastic dancing performances at Centenary Hall with the Under 16 years solos, duo/trios and troupes. Congratulations to last week's aggregate winner in the Under 14 Years age group - Sophie Alderton.
Another fun filled, dance packed weekend just gone. Well done to each and every performer. Congratulations to our Aggregate winners on the weekend - Under 6 Years Sophia Stone and Under 12 Years Philippa Crawley.

Get ready for the dancing events! Under 8 and under 10 years items start tomorrow from 9am. Held at Centenary Hall, Norlane - there is a small map of the location in our photos or follow the signs to 'Waterworld' along Melbourne Road. Good luck to all our competitors :)
Weekend number 2 is nearly here - pianoforte solos and duets. Starting 10am at Geelong Grammar School Music School, Corio on Saturday 19th July. Good luck to all the competitors :)
Thank you to all our competitors for a wonderful first weekend of competition with out solo vocal items. I hope everyone had a fun time and congratulations to all our winners.
So the first weekend of competition in nearly upon us. Competition starts 10am Saturday 12th July at Oberon High School for Junior Vocal items, continuing through into the evening with Intermediate and Senior Vocal items. All welcome to volunteer or just enjoy as audience members.
Program mistake alert! Sorry to anyone who has been reading their Pianoforte section carefully will have spotted our blunder. Pianoforte will be running on SATURDAY, 19th July (not Sunday 19th as written in the program) at Geelong Grammar School, Corio.
The programs have arrived back to the printer - finally! In the post tomorrow so expect them in your letter box next week. Let us know if it hasn't arrive by Friday so we can make sure your details are correct and that you get your programs before competition start.
