Our Clinic is the first in South East Queensland to have gained Queensland Radiation approval for the laser treatment of onychomycosis, or more commonly known as nail fungus. This gives our patient’s piece of mind that all appropriate protocols have been meet by strict government standards. The Gold Coast Nail Laser Clinic offers a pioneering service and prides itself on being the only clinic specialising in laser fungal nail treatment. Our Director and lead practitioner, Mr. Chris Matthews is passionate about tackling the ugly and unsightly nail fungus which can leave his patients feeling low on self-esteem and uncomfortable about exposing their feet and nails in public. Living in our warm climate can be quite an embarrassment, particularly with open-toed shoes which can expose yellow unsightly nails. Until now treatment has been very limited and usually unsuccessful. It is with this in mind that Chris and his team at The Gold Coast Nail Laser Clinic made the decision to bring the latest laser technology right here, to the Sunny Gold Coast. Chris, a Podiatrist with over 18 years experience, has been using a variety of techniques to treat nail fungus including referring for Oral medication and topical applications to little or no effect. Using our laser we are now able to provide a treatment that can safely penetrate beneath the nail plate and destroy the spores that are hidden below the surface.
