Located south of downtown, bordered by Lincoln, Speer and Colfax, & the 13th Avenue of the Arts and within walking distance of the Convention Center, this unique neighborhood is Denver’s center for art and culture. The Golden Triangle Museum District (GTMD) is home to eight of the city’s museums, including the Byers-Evans House, History Colorado Center , Denver Art Museum (DAM), Denver Firefighters Museum, Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art, the Molly Brown House, Grant Humphries Mansion and the Clyfford Still Museum. The newly designated National Landmark Civic Center Park sits in this neighborhood between the much visited State Capital Building and the Denver Mint. Also within the District are the Denver Public Library, Rocky Mountain PBS, Curious Theatre Company, Denver Musicians Association, Colorado Ballet, Denver Philharmonic Orchestra and the Art Institute of Colorado. These cultural & civic centers are interspersed with art galleries and open studios, as well as professional offices, specialty stores, salons, spas, coffee shops, bars and restaurants, and residences, all committed to “the art of living with art”. The result is a culturally rich neighborhood with a unique artistic flair.

For the past 14 years, the HRAC has been CO's primary provider of public health information, programming, and advocacy. The Harm Reduction Action Center is the only Colorado public health agency specifically focusing on injection drug users and their sexual partners that would not otherwise have access to appropriate health education, healthcare services, and emotional support designed specifically for the needs and culture of the IDU community. Formerly known as the “Little Red House” in the West side of Denver, the Harm Reduction Action Center serves more than 1,700 people affected by injection drug-use every year. HRAC (formally known as the Harm Reduction Project/Drop-In Center) is a recognized expert in providing HIV & Hepatitis C prevention programming, using harm-reduction principles to reduce the negative consequences of drug use impacting individuals, families and the larger community. Harm reduction enables us to meet drug users "where they're at," addressing the conditions of use along with the use itself. The Harm Reduction Action Center develops personal relationships with clients, guided by compassion, mutual respect, and evidence-based solutions, empowering clients to reduce the harmful effects of marginalized lifestyles. We are located at 733 Santa Fe Drive in Denver, Colorado. We are open for client drop-in services Monday through Friday from 9am to noon.
